Wyoming statutes of limitations
- For negligence – 4 years
- For medical malpractice – Providers within 2 yrs. of date of act giving rise to injury OR within 2 yrs. after injury was or should have been discovered. Minors must file within 2 yr. med. mal. Limitations period OR by minor’s 8th birthday (whichever is later)
- For product negligence – 4 years after suffering injury
- For wrongful death – 2 years of (D.O.D)
- For survival – 4 year limitations period for survival actions

For Medical Malpractice - Wyoming does not impose limits on damages in medical malpractice cases.
For Product Liability – Wyoming doesn’t impose limits on damages for product liability cases

Cap on Attorney Fees: Recovery $1 million or less: 1/3 if claim settled prior to 60 days after filing; 40% if settled after 60 days or judgment; 30% over $1 million.
Wyoming minor tolling - Except in cases of medical malpractice or wrongful death, minors have three years after their 18th birthday to file suit
