Manufacturer temporarily suspends marketing of Trasylol in Canada - Consumer InformationHealth Canada has requested that Bayer Inc., maker of Trasylol, temporarily suspend sales of Trasylol (aprotinin) until a review is completed of results from the BART study. The BART study indicated an increased risk of death form use of Trasylol. Bayer Inc. is to help Health Canada provide the drug to certain patients in cases where the doctor believes the potential benefit clearly outweighs the risk.
