Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Antero Niittymaki and left wing Simon Gagne both had successful hernia surgery on Monday. Gagne had a procedure done in Montreal to have a small hernia on his right side and a larger hernia on his left side repaired. He is expected to be fully healed within eight weeks.
