Structural Collapse at Airport Construction Site

A portion of the new Indianapolis International Airport terminal under construction was closed after part of the roof shifted. Engineers closed off the portion of the terminal to crews so they can find out what caused two steel beams to shift.

Crews were installing two steel beams on the north west corner of the new terminal when the steel beams moved. About 25 to 30 crews were in the area but none of them were injured.

Work in that area has temporarily been suspended until construction crews are able to determine what happened.
