Bucks County, PA residents die in too many car accidents

Three Bucks County, PA residents including a father and his adult son died on I-95 recently bringing the total to at least six people killed on area highways since June 15.

Three men ages 47 to 60 were thrown from their car as it flipped over on the highway around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. The driver was speeding when the car veered out of control and flipped before striking another car.

Early last week, a minivan veered out of control on I-95, passed through a guardrail and into a wooded area, ejecting two women ages 17 and 20. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 43 year old man was killed shortly before 3 p.m. when his car struck the rear of a semi-tractor trailer that swerved to avoid an SUV, which had pulled onto the shoulder facing traffic while trying to turn around.
