A Russian student who is working in the United States to earn money was run over by a Wildwood Beach Patrol vehicle while sunbathing at Wildwood Beach. The woman sustained severe abrasions and bruising, had tire tracks on her arms and hip, and was unable to work for a week. The woman was reluctant to talk about the incident because she's in a foreign country and comes from a police state where nothing is ever blamed on the government.
Wildwood Beach personnel would not speak about the incident which is considered an accident because the woman's position on the beach was in the driver's blind spot. The driver was idling forward when surrounding sunbathers yelled for him to stop. He got out of the vehicle and saw the woman under it on her stomach. She had been sleeping and didn't notice the vehicle coming toward her until it was too late.
