Anticipatory Grief and Mesothelioma Cancer
Malignant mesothelioma is the most serious of all asbestos diseases. Although rare, mesothelioma cancer is not uncommon for men in their 60s and older. Mesothelioma is caused by asbestos exposure in building supplies, shipyards, and the military. Women and young children can and have developed mesothelioma but not nearly in the numbers of men that have developed the disease. Mesothelioma may lie dormant for decades because it’s difficult to diagnose. When finally gets diagnosed, the prognosis will not be good.
