Asbestos was found at a site on Marco Island, Florida, and five theories - none proven - cannot solve how the asbestos got there and where the asbestos came from. The asbestos topic formed the basis of a 15-person, nearly 90-minute conference call recently. In attendance were seven representatives from the city, three from road contractor Quality Enterprises, two from the Environmental Protection Agency, two from American Management Resources Corp., and one from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Even the FBI has gotten involved but still no satisfactory answer has been revealed.
