Airbag Recalls

A Supplement Restraint System (SRS), as known as an airbag, is a supplement safety device that is used in conjunction with conventional restrains, like seatbelts, during an automobile collision to protect an occupant from hitting the vehicle's interior. As the airbag is a rapid inflation device that only deploys during an automobile's rapid deceleration, it is intended to be a secondary safety device and not to be solely relied on for protection. Yet, automobile accident injuries that are caused due to defective or non-functioning airbags has increased alarmingly and the result is serious injury and even fatalities.

Yet, the bureaucratic red tape drags out the recalling of airbags and more and more people are being injured in the meantime. Sometimes, the automobile manufacture is even left with the responsibility to recall the airbags placed in the vehicles, and this process can take time, again, opening the door for injuries to happen as the result of an accident.

Since airbag recall due to manufacture failure should be resulting in a higher standard of airbag through development and testing is not being done and injuries are still happening, it may be time to contact this office for a free consultation by clicking here.
