Robert Surh
Robert Surh joined the firm in August 2004 and focuses his practice in class actions, mass tort litigation, toxic tort litigation and other complex personal injury matters. Prior to joining Anapol Schwartz, he was an associate with the firm of Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky in Philadelphia.
In 1997, Mr. Surh earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2001, where he placed first in the Client Counseling Competition at Villanova, and was a finalist at the same competition in Washington, D.C. Mr. Surh recently published an article on the use of experts in wrongful death cases in TRIAL magazine. He is active with the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley and has served as Community Service Chair for ICON Philadelphia, an Asian American professionals organization.
Mr. Surh was recently appointed President of ICON/Philadelphia, an Asian American Professional networking organization in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Mr Surh was elected as Secretary of the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley's Executive Board for 2007.
Mr. Surh is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and also serves as an Arbitrator for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
