Michael (“Mike”) Schafle focuses his practice in pharmaceutical liability, class actions, products liability, premises liability, and other personal injury matters

Mr. Schafle is a member of Anapol Schwartz’s Unsafe Drug and Medical Device Team and also maintains an active practice representing individuals in catastrophic accidents involving tractor-trailers, construction falls and injuries, and defective products.

In 2001, Mr. Schafle earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance, magna cum laude, from Catholic University of America, where he was a member of the following national honor societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Pi Gamma Mu, and Phi Eta Sigma. Mr. Schafle was also the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for Outstanding Student Achievement in Business Studies. He received his law degree from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Mr. Schafle received highest honors in Legal Research and Writing, as well as the Law Faculty Scholarship, a scholarship awarded to students with outstanding undergraduate records and LSAT scores.

Mr. Schafle is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.  Prior to joining Anapol Schwartz, Mr. Schafle represented large corporations and insurance companies in personal injury matters and commercial disputes. This experience provides him with an advantage in negotiating on behalf of his personal injury clients by allowing him to anticipate defense strategies and tactics.

Mike has consistently been named a "Rising Star Super Lawyer" by Philadelphia magazine which recognizes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys 40 years old or younger in the state of Pennsylvania.  He is an active member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice (formerly ATLA, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America) and Pennsylvania Association for Justice (formerly PATLA, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association). Mike is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia area and currently resides in Center City.  He is an active member of the LaSalle College High School alumni and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association.
