Howard J. Levin
Howard J. Levin, a Shareholder of Anapol Schwartz, is known for the diverse cases he handles. Recognized for achieving one of the five largest verdicts ever in Pennsylvania, Mr. Levin has handled many medical malpractice and other cases. He is not afraid to take on cases with more novel issues and has been counsel in appeals that have made new personal injury law.
Mr. Levin concentrates his practice in medical, attorney and other professional malpractice, products liability and personal injury matters. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts, and has also handled many cases on appeal. He has served as a Liaison Counsel for the Orthopedic Bone Screw Litigation. He is also a member of the State Civil Judicial Procedure Committee and the Medico-Legal Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is a frequent lecturer on personal injury matters. Mr. Levin has been appointed as a judge pro temp for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia.
In 1978, Mr. Levin earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois . He received his law degree in 1981 from Villanova University School of Law. Mr. Levin is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American and Philadelphia Bar Associations, as well as the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations.
