Anita Pitock

Anita L. Pitock believes in treating her clients with the same devotion she provided to her patients during her more than twenty years in medicine. She is passionate about her work, her clients and the commitment to good health care. Ms. Pitock is known for her meticulous attention to details in the medical records. As a registered nurse, Ms. Pitock concentrates her practice in medical malpractice-wrongful death, pharmaceutical liability-dangerous drugs, and major personal injury.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Pitock worked extensively in medicine as a nurse caring for critically ill patients in an intensive/coronary care unit to caring for patients of all ages, from the newborn to the elderly, in a general practitioner’s office. In addition, she developed nuclear cardiology/ultrasound centers nationally and owned and operated a Diagnostic Imaging Company, locally. She received her diploma in nursing from St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1977, also receiving additional training in critical care and coronary care, ultrasound and nuclear cardiology. She has been a guest speaker at DeSales and Widener Universities and lecturing on “Scrutiny of a Medical Malpractice Case” at national conference for the Association for Vascular Access and how it relates to nursing.
In 1998, Ms. Pitock earned her Bachelor’s degree in nursing from DeSales University. She received her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2001. During law school, she was also a member of Moot Court. She has also been a guest speaker at Widener University School of Law and Villanova University School of Law lecturing on “Professional Medical Negligence” and Advanced Trial Practice.
Ms. Pitock was named a Pennsylvania “Rising Star Super Lawyer“ in December of 2008 edition of Philadelphia Magazine.
Ms. Pitock is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations as well as Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
