Amber Racine joined the firm of Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman & Smalley, P.C. as an associate in September 2008 and concentrates her practice on consumer and insurance class actions, consumer and insurance fraud litigation, pharmaceutical litigation and other civil and commercial litigation.
Prior to becoming an Associate at Anapol, Ms. Racine worked at the firm as a paralegal from 2002 to 2008.
Ms. Racine received her Bachelor's degree in History & Politics from Drexel University where she was an A.J. Drexel Scholar. Ms. Racine entered Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law in 2004 and attended classes in the evening while continuing her paralegal work at the firm. In 2008, she received her law degree and was awarded Distinguished Classroom Performance and Outstanding Oral Advocacy Awards.
Amber Racine is a member of the Executive Board of The Barristers' Association of Philadelphia. She is a past recipient of the Association’s President’s Award, and was recently elected Vice President of Administration. She is also an elected member of the Executive Board of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Young Lawyers’ Division.
The Legal Intelligencer named Amber as one of the “2011 Lawyers on the Fast Track” an honor reserved for outstanding young attorneys on the road to becoming future leaders in the community as well as the legal profession.
Ms. Racine is the co-author of two books, "The Library of Pennsylvania Personal Injury Forms" and “Pennsylvania Causes of Action” – both are resource books presented by The Legal Intelligencer.
Amber is also active in her community, volunteering with Philadelphia Futures as a mentor to local high school students.
Ms. Racine is admitted to practice in the state Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as in the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the National Bar Association, and the Barristers' Association of Philadelphia.
