Dara Lovitz Appointed Legal Chair for Pennsylvania Chapter of the Sierra Club
PHILADELPHIA, PA - March 2, 2005 - Anapol Schwartz Weiss Cohan Feldman and Smalley, P.C. (Anapol Schwartz) attorney Dara Lovitz has been appointed to serve as the Legal Chair for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Sierra Club. Her duties as Legal Chair include coordination of chapter litigation, providing legal experience and advice for the chapter on conservation issues, and legal representation of the chapter.
Ms. Lovitz is an associate with Anapol Schwartz and concentrates her practice in toxic tort litigation, medical malpractice, products and pharmaceutical liability, premises liability and other personal injury matters. In 2000, she earned her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law in 2003, where she was a member of the Political and Civil Rights Law Review, the Environmental Inn of Court and President of the Temple Environmental Law Society. Ms. Lovitz was the recipient of the Barrister Award and the Temple Law Faculty Scholarship. She is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, and the Temple Law Alumni Association. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
