"Alcohol in Civil Cases"
PHILADELPHIA - September 2, 2004 - Anapol Schwartz Weiss Cohan Feldman and Smalley, P.C. ("Anapol Schwartz") attorney Kevin R. Marciano spoke at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's Program, "Alcohol in Civil Cases," which took place Tuesday, August 31, 2004.
The "Alcohol in Civil Cases" Program offered attendees the opportunity to learn from top professionals in their fields about the issues involved in alcohol-related incidents in personal injury matters. Mr. Marciano spoke on pre-trial issues in cases involving intoxication evidence, as well as the plaintiff's perspective of trial preparation and tactics.
A partner with Anapol Schwartz, Mr. Marciano concentrates his practice in medical malpractice, motor vehicle liability, wrongful death, products liability, premises liability and other personal injury matters. Mr. Marciano serves on the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (PaTLA) as well as serving on its Executive Committee as an Officer. Additionally, he is involved with the following PaTLA Committees: Chairman of the Membership Committee; Co-Chair of the Legislative Network Committee; Vice Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee; the Public Relations Committee; the Fund Development Committee; the Legislative Policy Committee; and the Long Range Planning Committee. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the American, Philadelphia and Delaware County Trial Lawyers Associations.
Mr. Marciano received his bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and earned his law degree, with honors, from Capital University Law School. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Anthony R. Semararo in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.
