"Minimum Standards in the Construction Industry"

PHILADELPHIA - September 28, 2004 -- Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman and Smalley, P.C. ("Anapol Schwartz") attorney James A. Keating addressed Local 465 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of American in Chester County on September 22, 2004.

Mr. Keating, a member of Local 8 in Philadelphia, spoke about the minimum standards of fall protection in the construction industry.  He also addressed the lack of federal and state governments' ability to adopt minimum standards in using flame retardant urethane foam in upholstered furniture design.  More than 100 union members attended the presentation.
