Alan Schwartz Attorney named Diplomat of National Board of Trial Advocates
PHILADELPHIA - August 23, 2004 - Anapol Schwartz Weiss Cohan Feldman and Smalley, P.C. (Anapol Schwartz) attorney Alan Schwartz was recently named a Diplomate of the National Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Schwartz's frank was elevated from Advocate to Diplomate during the national board meeting of the National Board of Trial Advocates in July. This elevation in rank is given in recognition of the handling of many cases to verdict.
The National Board of Trial Advocate's mission is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy. They work to help individual litigants receive effective representation and with the general public to provide a more efficient administration of justice consistent with traditional principles of litigation.
Lecturing extensively on personal injury for numerous organizations, Mr. Schwartz has served as a lecturer on "Law and Dentistry" at Temple University's School of Dentistry and as an Adjunct Professor/Guest Lecturer for the Masters of Trial Advocacy Degree Program at Temple University School of Law. He has also spoken at Widener University School of Law, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Iowa Trial Lawyers Association, the Montgomery County Medical and Legal Conference, Thomas Jefferson Medical College and the Pennsylvania Statewide Trial Judge's Conference.
In 1960, Mr. Schwartz earned his bachelor's degree from Temple University. He earned his law degree from Temple University School of Law in 1963. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
